The objective of this text I named “OPERACION BITCOINS” is to share a true story. Raise awareness of a serious problem. Avoid repeating the same story in the future.

“In Feb 2017, a medical provider in Uruguay got hacked. The attacker stole a bunch of patient records and then used that to conduct extortion on the provider. They said they’d release the records of everyone … “

Wait, wait a second, what if that information is wrong, what if the medical provider was never actually hacked? Consider that, consider that for second, what if… ?

what if ….. what if false information was released regarding certain case of hacking, is that crazy to consider?

Think, Analyse, Conclude. This series of posts under the name of “Operacion Bitcoins: The BIG L.” is about seeing things and understanding events not from certain point of view, but from one where facts can be analysed based on evidence, facts.
